Smoke-Free Campus Environment at Hebron University

Hebron University is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all members of its community. In line with this commitment, the university promotes a smoke-free campus and support the well-being of its students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Hebron University Chairman of the Board of Trustees Dr. Nabil Al -Jabari received the president of the Anti-Smoking Association Mr. Majed Al-Shyoukhi and the association's administrative members in his office. Dr. Nabil Al-Jabari also listened to his guests on the activities and events that they hold in order to fight the smoking epidemic. 

The inauguration of BAYTNA, The first complementary palliative care facility in Palestine 

Hebron University in partnership with Patient’s Friends Society-Jerusalem opens the first palliative day care center in the south of Palestine, in Hebron city. ‘BAYTNA’ is located a mere two minutes from the university in a house with a private garden. The project has been funded by generous supporters from all spheres.

Workshop about the epidemiology of non-communicable disease in Palestine 

The College of Nursing at Hebron University with cooperation of The Palestinian National Center for non-communicable diseases – Ministry of Health (PNCNCD-MOH) conducted a workshop about the epidemiology of non-communicable disease in Palestine on celebration of the international heart day. The workshop discussed some risk factors such as smoking and poor nutrition and its impact on heart diseases.
