Grants and Loans

Based on the university’s vision that no student should be deprived of his academic education due to the economic situation, Hebron University established the Grants and Loans Department.

The vision of the Grants and Loans Department is to provide needy students with the opportunity to study, regardless of their financial capabilities.

Objectives

Objectives The department will work hard to provide financial assistance to students by assessing their economic, financial and social situation.

Establishing good relationships with local and international donors 

People with special needs

The student must be 50% or more disabled according to the Ministry of Health report approved to determine the percentage of disability

The disabled student is given a discount rate equal to his disability

Poor Student Fund Loans and Aid

The student who wishes to nominate to benefit from the Poor Student Fund must follow the fund’s announcements Through the bulletin board designated for this, then he should review the Grants and Loans Department Fill out the form for assistance and attach the identification documents. The necessary information that confirms the accuracy of the data included in the request

The Grants and Loans Department reviews candidates’ applications and ensures that the information included is correct. Therein, and ensure that they comply with the conditions for obtaining aid and loans provided by the Fund

The lists of beneficiary students are determined after conducting a social survey (field, office) of the applicant students

Participation with the Student Loan Fund of higher education institutions in Palestine in the registration of students for loans 

The minister of higher education and scientific research signed a. Dr. Mahmoud Abu Mois and the director general of Istiqlal investment and Development Bank, Mr. Mehdi Hamdan, at the ministry's headquarters, today, signed a cooperation agreement to manage the accounts of the Student Lending Fund of higher education institutions in Palestine, in order to ensure the development and enhancement of the services provided by the fund.


Housing Bank contributes to support the needy student fund at Hebron University

The Housing Bank, based on the principle of Community Partnership, contributed to support the needy student fund at Hebron University, as part of a series of donations made by the bank to Palestinian universities, in order to enable students to complete their educational career and overcome the material conditions that prevent this.


 

1- Hebron University receives a delegation from the Reach Education Fund

Hebron University received a delegation from the Reach Education Fund to provide scholarships and training programs.

2- Hebron University hosts delegation from "The Palestine Students Scholarship Fund" (PSSF) - Chicago

The University hosted a delegation from "The Palestine Students Scholarship Fund" – Chicago represented by Mr.    Ali    Atta,    the    PSSF    president,    and    the accompanying delegation.

3- Alumni Unit holds training workshop entitled "Century Skills for the Labor Market 21st "

In cooperation with the Palestinian Employment Fund, the Alumni Unit at Hebron University held a training workshop entitled "21st Century Skills for the Labor Market" with 20 training hours over three consecutive days.   The   activity   was   implemented   within   the activities of the PALM project and was funded by the German cooperation GIZ.

4- University signs cooperation agreement with FAO

Within the framework of the youth project entitled "Green Jobs and Sustainable Income Opportunities  for  Palestinian  Female  Male  Youth  in  the  Agribusiness  and  Food  Sector", Hebron University signed a cooperation agreement with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

5- The College of Finance & Management takes a place in the business incubator's judge panel at Hebron's Chamber of Commerce & Industry

The panel is responsible for evaluating and choosing stand-out business projects. Of the 39 projects being judged, 17 were chosen primarily to receive training for two months. After that, the start-ups will be evaluated and filtered once more to form the final group of unique projects obtaining funding and support.

6- The Graduate Unit, in cooperation with the Injaz Palestine Foundation, holds a training workshop entitled “How to Start”

The Graduate Unit at Hebron University, in cooperation with the Injaz Palestine Foundation, held a training workshop entitled “How to Start.” The training workshop focused on the basic skills that graduates and final-year students need for a smooth transition to the labor market. The workshop focused on educating attendees and providing them with CV writing skills, job interview skills, and the need to benefit from practical training opportunities.

7- Hebron University assists the General Director to assist Arab students
