The departments of the college are divided into the basic and clinical phases:
Departments of the Basic Medical Sciences:
These departments are under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for the Basic Phase and include the following sections:
- Department of Biology, Biochemistry and Genetics.
- Department of Pathology
- Department of Physiology
- Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology
- Department of Human Anatomy, Histology and Embryology
- Department of Microbiology & Immunology
- Department of Public Health and Psychology.
Departments of Clinical Medical Sciences:
These departments are under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for the Clinical Phase and include the following departments:
- Department of Internal Medicine
- Department of Surgery
- Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Department of Pediatrics
- Department of Private Internal Medicine (Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonary Medicine, Clinical Radiology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Oncology)
- Department of Special Surgery (Cardiac Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Anesthesia and Intensive Care, Pediatric Surgery, Oncology, Neurosurgery (Optional), Rehabilitation, Urology, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology).
