Participation in the International Day of Osteoporosis Prevention

Miss Suhair Issa, a nursing faculty at Hebron University participated in the activities of the International Day of Osteoporosis Prevention, which was held on 11.1.2011 on the campus of Bethlehem University in cooperation with the Palestinian Society for the prevention of osteoporosis.

The participants discussed the prevalence of osteoporosis in Palestine and the quality of available health services, and the impact of this disease on health of the Palestinian women.

At the end of that day, participants summarized their recommendations and sent to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
