Attendance of a conference on public health in the eyes of young researchers

Two staff from Faculty of Nursing-Hebron University, Dr. Hussein Jabareen and Mr. Yousef Jaradat, attended a Conference on Public Health in the eyes of young researchers, which was held on 11/5/2011 in the conferences hall at Palestinian Red Crescent building in Ramallah. A number of Palestinian researchers and graduates of the Institute of Public Health at Al-Quds University presented the results of their research that covered many topics related to public health in Palestine.

The conference recommended that there is a need to establish a forum from health academicians to provide the opportunity for young researchers to present their research findings. The participants confirmed the need to support health research to be the main pillar to make sound and effective health policies in Palestine.
