An introduction to philosophy, its subject matter, foundations, and its interactions with other disciplines such as religion, literature, and science. It delves into fundamental philosophical questions such as the nature of existence, the type of knowledge that provides certainty, and the meaning of truth about ourselves and the surrounding world. The course explores these issues through readings from different schools of philosophy, with a focus on philosophical and educational aspects

32120   Introduction To Palestinian Society

This course explores the main aspects of Palestinian society, including economics, social structures, religion, and the transformations that have occurred in these areas. It examines the development of Palestinian identity and culture, the Nakba (catastrophe), displacement, ethnic cleansing, national movement, resistance beyond the 1967 occupation. Additionally, the course addresses the social changes after Oslo agreement, and the prevailing cultural and intellectual dynamics

32100   General Psychology

This course provides an introduction to the nature and development of psychology and its subfields, with a focus on psychology’s relationship with other sciences. It explores various schools of psychology, including contemporary approaches, the foundations of biological and human development, and learning theories. Topics include individual differences in memory and intelligence, mental health issues, psychological disorders, and human interactions. The course also examines cognitive and emotional processes. Students will be asked to write reports on a psychology-related topic as part of the coursework
