What were you doing before joining the MBA program at Hebron University?
I was working in bank of Palestine in Hebron, and during my study I moved to live in Abu Dhabi and started working in German Company called TUV NORD as training coordinator.
Why you decided to study at Hebron University?
Hebron University have a special place in my heart as my parents graduated from the same university and my father was the first President of the Student Union Council back before I born maybe , also I find it easy as I were working in the same city.
Top tip for new applicants?? New graduates??
Don’t get discouraged when a job you really want does not pan out for you. It just opens doors to other opportunities, just be open for change and one day you will get there.
Also education is not enough , at least 50% of success depend on your confidence, communication and presentation skills , work on your language ,on your communication skills and this will for sure make a difference in your career as much as a degree you hold; it will make difference.
What do you do now? What do you enjoy in what you do now?
I’m a digital academy manager in TUV SUD , German company which provide services related to training certification and testing , I enjoy working with people from around the world , I work in diverse culture place where we learn from each other, I enjoy telling the story of Palestine and about the education experience in Palestine.
How Hebron University has supported you in your career?
Hebron university helped me to continue my last semester and my thesis while I was living in another country, they facilitated for me the dates for exams and also the lectures, they were very supportive when I requested time extension to work on my thesis while I were a full time worker and a mother of 2 kids.
I have learned a lot in my MBA journey at Hebron University. What I have learnt, I see myself practicing it here in my current job
I’m grateful and thankful to all instructors that I really learned a lot from them.
Which university course you have enjoyed the most?
Human Resource Fundamentals with Dr. Mohamed Al Jaabari , course I still remember and apply in my job
Marketing Fundamentals with Dr. Sameer Abu Znaid one of the people who inspire my in my education and career.
Hardest part of your course?
I don’t remember a “hard” course, but finding balance between my work and life as a Mom and still studying was hard. But efforts for sure pay off, and for sure it was a hard and great journey
Any lectures that inspired you?
All lectures of Dr. Mohamed Al Jabari and Dr. Sameer Abu Znaid was inspiring, I still remember many of what I have learnt with them.
