Workshop “Health Informatics: A Critical Need in Palestine and Jordan”

Under the auspices of Dr. Nabil Al-Ja’bari Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Hebron University you are cordially invited to attend an
international Health Informatics workshop on 26 November 2017, Strategic Planning Building, titled:
“Health Informatics: A Critical Need in Palestine and Jordan”
The importance of this workshop comes in the participation of academics, policy makers and industrialists in finding a common language in the areas of information technology and health in building innovation solutions to meet the increasing challenges of the health sector in Palestine and Jordan.
It provides a platform for attendees and stakeholders: scientists, students, policy makers and practitioners, from participating countries including the EU, Palestine and Jordan, to share their knowledge and experiences to developing solutions and overcoming barriers. It will also present on ways of enriching and integrating health informatics into undergraduate curricula in both IT and health programmes. Such integration is critical to instill the needed health informatics skills and competencies in graduates to be able to meet the challenges of their professional practice.
The workshop is organised by the College of Nursing/College of Information Technology, in collaboration with Birzeit University, funded through the Erasmus plus programme of the European Union.
