Hebron University Organizes Environmental Conference for Schools' Students
Under the auspices of Dr. Nabil Al-Jabari, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, the Faculty of Agriculture at Hebron University organized the Environmental Conference in the presence of a group of governmental and non-governmental schools, representatives of organizations, and with the participation of 30 schools from Hebron and Bethlehem Governorates to discuss several topics; such as water, recycling and environmental education.
Dr. Al-Jabari called for focusing on education that is based on scientific research and exploration rather than memorization. He assured that Hebron University will continue to support all governmental, private and civil community institutions and confirmed HU as an open theater for everyone.
Speaking on behalf of the Conference Committee, Dr. Ayed Zakarna, professor of environmental science at the Faculty of Agriculture praised the role of HU supporting conferences that target all segments of society. Moreover, he stressed the important role played by the Faculty of Agriculture through carrying out various researches and projects for the advancement of the agriculture and environment.
