College of Law Visits Supreme Judicial Council

The College of Law and the Legal Clinic at Hebron University organized a scientific trip for law students to the Courts Complex in Ramallah. The visit aims at acquainting students with the duties and capacities of the Supreme Judicial Council, and attending sessions in the Supreme Courts of Justice and Courts of Appeal, in addition to the corruption and criminal tribunal. The Delegation of Hebron University consisted of 30 students supervised by Dr. Bassam Qawasmi.

Judge Raid Assaf, the spokesman of Supreme Judicial Council and Mrs. Shatha AL-Hussainim Public Relations Director at the council welcomed the delegation of Hebron University. Then, a number of judges and officials at the council presented an overview on the council and the above mentioned courts.

At the end of the visit, Dr. Al-Qawasmi thanked the Supreme Judicial Council for their warm reception and cooperation which in turn enhances cooperation bridges and develops colleges of law at the Palestinian universities.

This visit comes within the college of law objectives that are represented in linking theoretical courses with practical and applicable reality.
