The Participation in the Second Scientific Day of Physics

 

Dr. Khalil Thabayneh, Dr. Lelia Mesh'al, and Eng. Ahmad Ghayada from College of Science and Technology at Hebron University participated in the Second Scientific Day of Physics held in an-Najah National University. Dr. Khalil Thabayneh and Eng. Ahmad Ghayada presented a scientific paper titled: "The Strategy of Green Campus in Hebron University".

The paper tackled explaining the concept of green campus and the strategies needed to be followed in order to reach the aim and expected results when applying the strategy. Meanwhile; they presented what has been achieved to reach the green campus in Hebron University. A survey on electricity consumption, wind speed, and solar radiation has been made. They have also touched on the pioneering role of Hebron University in the application of green campus strategy, in addition to the accreditation of the BA program "The Science and Technology of Environment".   

Dr. Lelia Mesh'al also presented a scientific paper on "Laser Semiconductors and the effects of its reflections from surfaces". The paper tackled the concept of the laser, its different uses, and its applications from biological perspective such as the heart, nervous system and neurons, in addition to the effect of the devices when placed in electrical circuits.
