Hebron University Honors Participants in the British Council Workshops
In the presence of the President of Hebron University Prof. Dr.. Ahmad Atawneh and Mr. Andrew Foster director of teacher training projects at the British Council, the chair of the English Department Dr. Raghad Dweik and a number of teachers from the English Department at the University and with the cooperation of the British Council, three workshops were held on teaching English and using technology in teaching. About sixty participants from teachers at Hebron University and Palestine Polytechnic University in addition to a group of MA and BA students at Hebron Unievrsity benefited from these workshops.
Prof. Dr. Ahmad Atawneh gave a speech in which he welcomed the gusts and emphasized the importance of holding such workshops to provide the Palestinian job market with qualified teachers. Mr. Andrew foster talked about the importance of continuity of the activities which reinforce cooperation between the University and the British Council. At the end of the meeting, participation and appreciation certificates were distributed among the participants from the two universities.
