The Participation of Faculty of Nursing in a workshop with the World Health Organization

The dean of Faculty of Nursing Dr. Hussein Jabareen participated in a workshop with the World Health Organization that was held in the city of Ramallah on Health and Human Rights, where he presented the experience of Faculty of Nursing and Hebron University in directing students towards the concept of comprehensive healthcare, which includes the physical, psychological, and social aspects of wellbeing. Dr. Jabareen explained how Faculty of Nursing at Hebron University integrated the principle of health as a human right in their academic curriculum and non-academic activities.

At the end of the workshop, participants from the different health colleges in the Palestinian Universities agreed to cooperation and to exchange experiences with the Health Promotion and Advocacy Office at the World Health Organization in Palestine.
