The English Department Holds a Workshop in Teaching Methods

Within the activities  of the English Department and the Center for Excellence in Teaching at Hebron University, Dr. Hazem Bader, coordinator of the workshops  in the  English Department hosted Professor Ahmad Al-Atawneh, Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching  and Dr. Hanna Tushyeh of the English Department  in holding a workshop about methods of teaching. It was attended by the students in the course of Methods of Teaching English TEFL I. Professor Al-Atawneh gave a presentation about the characteristics of the good teacher and classroom management. This was followed by a film on teaching the English language. Student Anwaar Al-Khateeb  gave a PowerPoint presentation on rapport between teachers and students. Dr. Hanna Tushyeh concluded the workshop by a brief talk about errors, their significance, types, causes and correction. It was worth mentioning that this workshop comes in the context of  upgrading the quality of teaching at Hebron University and activating the activities. At the end of the workshop, Dr. Hazem Bader thanked the participating teachers and students.
