The Chairman of the Hebron University Board of Trustees, Dr. Nabil Al-Ja’bari together with some of the administrative and academic body members visited Daqiqa area to the east of Yatta which the occupation forces stormed into and destroyed a school building attached to the Daqiqa School. The occupation forces also destroyed 13 houses and displaced around 70 persons from the inhabitants of the destroyed houses.

Dr. Al-Ja’bari lauded the stand of the inhabitants of the Daqiqa area and their steadfastness before the Israeli aggression machine. He added that the strike which does not make us dead increases our strength, determination, persistence and challenge in adhering to our rights and our Palestinian constant positions. He also said: “From this place there is nowhere else to go,’ referring to adhering to the land and rejecting the policy of displacement and destruction of houses.

In a generous gesture by Dr. Al-Ja’bari, he gave scholarships to the inhabitants of the area specially the girls to enable them continue their university study at Hebron University out of supporting their steadfastness in the face of the occupation.
