Hebron University Wins First Place in 2025 French Oratory Competition

 

Hebron University has claimed first place in the 2025 French Language Oratory Competition held at the German Cultural Center in Ramallah. The event, part of Francophone Week organized by the French Consulate in Jerusalem, featured 14 participants from various Palestinian universities.

The judging panel included Mr. Stéphane, Language and Educational Cooperation Attaché at the French Consulate; Mr. Guillaume Carré, French Language Officer; Ms. Marion Vidal, Language Cooperation Officer; and Ms. Yamina Najadi, Director of the French Institute in Ramallah. Student Lamis Hassouna from Hebron University captivated the judges with her outstanding performance to win the top prize.

University President Dr. Raghda Dwaik, along with Administrative Vice President Mohammad Ziad Al-Jabari and French language instructor Dr. Ibrahim Malouki, welcomed the winning student and her colleagues, presenting them with commemorative shields. Dr. Dwaik emphasized that such achievements motivate other students to participate in cultural activities and enhance the university's role in developing student talents.
