Led by Acting President Dr. Raghad Dwaik, HU signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Democratic Institute (NDI), represented by Mr. Ashraf Zughayer, to launch the "I Participate" program. HU officials and NDI representatives attended the signing ceremony.

The program, offered free to students across all academic years, focuses on democratic practices, human rights, active citizenship, and local governance, culminating in a local election simulation each semester.

Dr. Dwaik highlighted the partnership in fostering an educational environment that supports democratic engagement, while Mr. Zughayer praised HU academic excellence and students' commitment to learning and awareness.
