Hebron University hosted the Southern West Bank Universities Championship, bringing together various Palestinian universities and notable academic and sports figures. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Louay Al-Ghazazi, Dean of Student Affairs, who welcomed participants and acknowledged the efforts of Ms. Suhair Al-Qasrawi in organizing the championship.

 

Universities such as Bethlehem, Khadouri Al-Arroub, Ahliya, and Polytechnic joined the host in competitions held at Hebron and Polytechnic University venues. Dr. Mohammad Ziad, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, praised the organizers and reaffirmed Hebron University's commitment to supporting future sports activities.

 

The tournament featured strong performances in multiple sports and was supervised by international referees Nael Sinqrot and Arwa Abu Al-Halawa, with support from Hebron University students.

 

 

Table Tennis: Hebron University claimed first place (males) and second place (females).

 

Badminton: Hebron University took first and second places (females) and third place (males).

 

Chess: Hebron University secured first place (females) and second place (males).
