Hebron University College of Agriculture Hosts Training on Feed Composition and Quality
The College of Agriculture at Hebron University, in partnership with the Agricultural Engineers Association, the Ministry of Agriculture, and with support from the Palestine Poultry Company, held a three-day training course on feed composition and quality.
The event began with speeches from Professor Raed Diya, Dean of the College of Agriculture; Engineer Osama Jarrar from the Agricultural Engineers Association; and Engineer Salah Al-Baba from the Ministry of Agriculture. Around 30 agricultural engineers, students, and community members attended the training course.
Professor Diya delivered lectures on feed raw materials, quality standards, and manufacturing processes, while Engineer Al-Baba discussed the new Palestinian feed system. Agricultural engineer Naim Aseed provided insights on complete feeds for cows.
The program concluded with a visit to the Rabieh Feed Factory in Beit Ula, where participants explored feed formulation and production processes. Certificates were distributed, and attendees praised the efforts exerted by the College of Agriculture in supporting the local community and Palestinian agriculture.
