Hebron University Hosts Seminar for International Day of Persons with Disabilities
The College of Professions and Applied Sciences (CPAS) at Hebron University held a seminar titled "Empowering Leadership Among Persons with Disabilities for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future" to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Dr. Raghad Dwaik, HU Acting President, emphasized fostering awareness and integrating individuals with disabilities across all sectors.
Dr. Salman Talahmeh, Dean of the CPAS, highlighted the HU commitment to providing a safe, inclusive environment and celebrating the achievements of individuals with disabilities as models of success.
Representatives from various organizations thanked HU, emphasizing the need for empowering persons with disabilities and addressing their challenges.
Dr. Louay Al-Ghazawi, Dean of Student Affairs, stressed the importance of legislative support, specialized awareness programs, and capacity-building partnerships.
The seminar concluded with a performance of The Match Seller by the Anad Theater Team, promoting the value of equal opportunities for all individuals, regardless of their abilities or needs.
