HU Media Department Participates in Training Workshop on Press Freedom in Jordan

Hebron University Media Department, represented by Mr. Salah Eddin Abu Hassan and Ms. Maysaa Talahima, participated in a three-day workshop on "Press Freedom" in Amman, Jordan. The workshop was organized in collaboration with An-Najah National University and Oslo Metropolitan University in Norway.

The workshop aimed to improve trainers' teaching skills on press freedom and develop related educational curricula, promoting community awareness of press freedom concepts and their importance.

In a symposium held at the Jordan Media Institute, on the sidelines of the training workshop entitled "Mechanisms for Integrating Freedom of Expression into Education Curricula," Abu Hassan stressed the importance of media education in raising awareness and freedom of opinion and expression.

This participation is part of the strategy of the HU Media Department to deliver distinguished education, with the goal of qualifying academic cadres and educating students on press rights and freedom of expression.
