Abstract:
The current study aimed at identifying the level of perceived resonant leadership, and psychological capital. It aims also to verify the correlation between them, and to reveal the differences in psychological capital, according to the variables of gender, years of experience, and educational qualification. The study sample consisted of (185) male and female teachers from Jerusalem municipality.To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers prepared a scale of perceived resonant leadership and psychological capital.The study results showed that the level of resonant leadership and the level of psychological capital were moderate.The results also showed a positive correlation between perceived resonant leadership and psychological capital, while the results did not indicate any differences in psychological capital according to the variables of gender, qualification, and years of experience. Based on the results, the researchers suggest the following recommendations: first there is a need to adopt a resonant leadership style and to pay more attention to the psychological capital, as well as to spread the culture of resonant leadership and the psychological capital in schools.
