This study aims to clarify the concept of psychological counseling according to Imam Al-Ghazali and how it was expressed through his book Mizan Al’mal by touching upon the educational perspective of this matter. The researcher adopted the descriptive, historical and inductive approach and reached the following conclusions:-

1. Imam Al-Ghazali was deeply interested in psychological counseling and this was shown clearly in his book Mizan Al’mal.
2. The Mizan Al’mal Book contains variant guiding methods that nourish the human self and enhance the positive aspects in it. These methods were clarified in ten points as self control, motivation, reinforcement and directed guidance.
