Job Vacancy: Project coordinator
Hebron University (HU) has received a grant from the Stars in Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Funded by Grand Challenges Canada (GCC) the project entitled: "Haya (Life) Project for Sexual and Reproductive Health”.
Accordingly HU seeks to employ a Project Coordinator for a fixed period of 18 months.
The project coordinator will be responsible for the overall implementation of all project activities under the supervision of the project directors.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
The coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and implementation of all project activities including the following tasks:

Ensure implementation of the project activities through preparing, implementing and providing adequate follow up for the project activities.

Managing financial issues and preparing financial reports in compliance with donors regulation and financial office regulations.

Prepare and submit progress reports as required.

Evaluate and monitoring of project progress at all stages of the project.

Providing support to enhance and develop partnership between HU and local organizations.

Coordinating and participating in project workshops, meetings, conferences, etc.

Assist project directors in issuing contracts, letters of intent, purchase orders, etc.

Keep the project director and team lead informed about the project status and the issue that may impact project implementation.

Monitor and report to the higher management levels, about the progress of the implementation process.

Organize and keep all the projects files.

Attend all the workshops and meeting and submit meeting minutes.

Possibility to travel as required by the project activities.

The coordinator will work by part time ( 50%, ~24 hours week)
Minimum requirements:

At least B.Sc. degree in management/ admin or similar.

Experience preferred.

Effective communication skills.

Proven to work effectively independently and in a team work environment.

Demonstrate willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities of the project.

Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).

Very good technical reporting skills and computer skills.

Time frame: The duration of the project is 18 month from 22 April 2018 to 22 September 2019.
Contract type: Project based.
