For more than 2000 years, mathematics has been part of man search for knowledge and understanding. As most of mathematicians discoveries were descriptions of the ingredients of the world.

The department of Mathematics at Hebron University was founded in 1986 in accordance of the idea above. From the starting point till now, the department in cooperation with the administration of the University did every thing possible to attract the best instructors in all branches of mathematics. As well as the best students especially those who has the potential of being good mathematicians in the future.
