The graduates of the Faculty of Shatria have had essential contributions in building and protecting the Palestinian society. Among these graduates are people who occupied high-ranking positions, including ministers, legislators, leaders of the Islamic community, defenders of Jerusalem, doctorate holders, university professors, headpersons of departments, education supervisors, reformers, imams of mosques, and schoolteachers. May God bless and save our Faculty of Sharia and give its instructors the strength to continue the mission for the good of our community and the entire world. College Establishment The College of Islamic Law is a cornerstone of Islamic education in Palestine. It was the first College at Hebron University, established in 1971 with 43 students enrolled in its programs. Ever since, it witnessed a continuous increase in the number of students. . The founder of this College, Sheikh Mohammad Ali Al-Jabari – may God's mercy be upon him – understood that spreading Islamic knowledge to Muslims in all parts of Palestine is a great responsibility. After the establishment of the college, he spared no effort in serving the College, its instructors, and its students. He meant to prepare the leaders and pioneers, to enlighten the ways towards highness, liberation, and renaissance. So far the college has achieved intellectual and scientific rise in the society. With gratitude to Al-Jabari’s great efforts, the College has produced social leaders, religious thinkers, and public reformers. Objectives: The major objectives of the College since its establishment are as follows:
