Patient’s Friends society- Jerusalem announces the arrival of international oncology (cancer) specialists from the US and UK to Palestine later this month to support local healthcare professionals with oncology and palliative care workshops. These workshops, organised by Patient's Friends Society–Jerusalem (PFS), will take place at universities in Nablus and Hebron. Healthcare professionals in Gaza will also be included via video link to the European Hospital, Gaza, giving them a rare chance to receive specialist training.

The first two-day workshop, in cooperation with the Nursing Faculty of An-Najah National University, Nablus, will be at the New Campus on 31st January and 1st February, from 08:30-15:30. The second workshop will be held at Hebron University's new Student Activities Building on 2nd and 3rd February, from 08:30-15:30. Health professionals from all sectors have been invited in an effort to promote the multi disciplinary approach to cancer care.
